Important Notice on Contract Roasting (Click to read)

By choosing our contract roasting service, you acknowledge that you have fully read and agree to our Contract Roasting Policy.

Coffee beans naturally lose weight during roasting due to moisture evaporation and the release of volatile compounds. This is an inherent and unavoidable part of the coffee roasting process.
As a result, final roasted coffee weight is indicative only and cannot be guaranteed. Actual yield may vary depending on bean characteristics, moisture content, and roast level.
Typical weight loss during roasting ranges from approximately 12% to 20%, depending on the roast profile. This range is provided for reference only.
For contract roasting services, all pricing and production calculations are based on the green coffee input weight, not the final roasted output. Variations in roasted weight do not constitute a defect, service failure, or misrepresentation.
Where services are supplied for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, to the extent permitted by New Zealand law.
